The 90 Day Novel

Today I have embarked on a new journey. A slightly terrifying new journey in which I will write a novel in 90 days.

First you are probably thinking, lots of people write novels in a month, what’s the big deal about 90 days? To which I say yes, that is true. I’ve done the whole NaNoWriMo thing and have written a novel in 30 days. It was a very bad novel of which I cut a third of the text the fist day of editing. The goal there was to get words on the page.

The goal of The 90 Day Novel by Alan Watt is to walk you through a step by step process of writing your novel. It’s not just about getting words on the page, but about getting your story on the page.

While I don’t plan to blog every day, (I have to write a novel after all) I do plan on sharing with you my experiences along the way.

I would also like to thank Myra McEntire for introducing me to the book on twitter. Be sure to pick up a copy of her new book Hourglass in stores June 14th. She’s an awesome writer.
